 * In the Proverbs reading, does your translation give the literal translation "his heart is not with you" in verse 7? Is that good English? Why do many translations paraphrase it? Compare the modern meaning of "heart" with its meaning in Old Testament times.
 
 * In John 5:39, according to your translation, is the Lord Jesus telling the Jewish leaders that they should search the scriptures? or pointing out the reason why they do so? — translations differ. In either case, is there a warning in the context for keen, sincere Bible students?
