 * Another strong allusion to Creation in a prophetical context in Psalm 144. How does this make the prophecy, and the poetry, more powerful?
 
 * Luke doesn't say that people thought that Jesus was casting out a demon, he says that he was casting it out. The explanation that Luke himself knew better accounted for the demon possession in chapter 9, but it doesn't work here. Or does it? Might Luke the physician be simplifying the case for Theophilus?
 
 * How are Jesus' words about Satan relevant to the miracle? How would Luke expect Theophilus to respond to Jesus' argument about Satan and Beelzebul, and his teaching about the return of the unclean spirit? Are there general lessons for us in these difficult passages, lessons about Bible reading and arguments based on the Bible?
