 * The verb for the beating in Exodus 39:3 is cognate with the word for the firmament. Does that fact help us understand how firm the firmament was believed to be?

 * It has been thought that the word finished in Genesis 2:2-3 must rule out further creation, or at least further creation described by the word בָּרָא – bara. How does today's reading from the Psalms disprove that idea? (See v.18 and follow the link to Ongoing Creation.)

 * Does the psalm reflect the ancient understanding of a stationary earth in the centre of the universe? (v.25)

 * Do you understand v.26 of the psalm literally?

 * Can you guess which two verses of the psalm are referenced in the BASF in support of a fundamental Christadelphian doctrine? (here)

 * Paul refers to the rabbinical legend of the Following Rock — does this mean that he believed it? Did he allude to it without "endorsing" its truth? What can we learn from Paul's example? (Follow the link from 1 Corinthians 10:4 if you are not familiar with the legend.)
