From Reconciling understandings of Scripture and Science

 * What is faith? Is Hebrews 11:1 a definition of it, or a description of one aspect of it? Consider discussion here and here — both contexts favouring harmony between Bible and Science.

 * Should verse 3 of Hebrews 11 be applied to the created physical universe? See at Hebrews 11:1-3, linking to a case that it should not be understood that way. Also there: a link to bro Alan Eyre's discussion of science and the need for faith.

 * It has been claimed that Cain and Abel would not have been mentioned in Hebrews 11:4, or Noah in verse 7, if the writer of Hebrews had understood them as non-historical figures in some way — such as metaphorical, legendary or mythical. Do you agree? Would it mean that the Bible can never be reconciled with science?
