Opinions vary about "Postcreationism" — i.e. briefly: literal reading of Genesis, a world wide flood; all "species" saved by Noah; and evolution of all modern species since then.
At best, Postcreationism is a way of acknowledging a variety of evolutionary processes in harmony with particular interpretations of the Bible. At worst it is a way of accepting the evolution of species while continuing to deny it.
This essay by Joel Duff and others describes, explains and critiques it: Dissent with modification: how postcreationism’s claim of hyperrapid speciation opposes yet embraces evolutionary theory.
