The Breath of Life
From Reconciling understandings of Scripture and Science
(Redirected from Ruach hayyim)
This chain of references concentrates on Paul's observation in Acts 17:26 that the One God "gives life and breath and all things" to human beings. For this reason it does not cover exhaustively the complications of Hebrew Nephesh, Neshamah and Ruach but simply looks for "a breath of life tradition in the Hebrew Bible" which Paul reflects in his allusions to it.
