 * Consider the tenses in Isaiah 42:5. Is there a reason why God's "unfurling" of the sky is in the past tense here but in the present tense in 40:22?

 * Was Paul thinking of Isaiah 42:5 when he spoke to the Areopagites about the God who gives life and breath to all? (Acts 17:25) — and does Isaiah's mention of the heaven-creating God who gives life and breath to humankind itself allude to Genesis 2:7?
