 * Do the "images" in 1 Samuel 6:5,11 help us to understand the meaning of Genesis 1:26-27, which tells us, by repetition, that God created man in his own image, in the image of God? See at The Image and Likeness of God.

 * Isaiah chapter 51, especially verses 12-16, is one of the "Creation Texts" that scholars identify in the Bible. They often bring together the original creation of the world out of chaos and the call of Israel out of Egypt. Others are listed in this wiki from Isaiah 51:12-16.

 * In Revelation 12:7-9 we read of war in heaven between Michael and ". . .  the great dragon [which] was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world . . . ". Do you understand this to refer to a literal serpent? Is it the same serpent that we read of in Genesis ch. 3?

 * Who is "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" in Revelation 13:8? What does this mean? You might like to follow the links from Before the foundation of the world now or when we come to the same concept again in Revelation 17.

Edit this page to add discussion about the Daily Readings relevant to this wiki. However the New Testament readings are visited twice a year, so please put discussion and comments about Revelation 12,13 on page DR:N626_C26, which is automatically embedded here.
