28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
Bro Ken Drage cites this verse here when comparing the choice God offered Israel and the choice offered to Adam and Eve. Adam represents — and his name literally means — all humankind, and Israel in the wilderness is similar.
