Yes Heb grammar. But it depends on the pronunciation, so without diacritics it was a bit ambiguous. The Christians fell for creatio ex nihilo so didn't follow the  natural translation or the Massoretic diacritics when they became available. Neither did Judaism for a millennium or so for the same reason, so the customary vocalisation & translation contradicted the Massoretic text.  [[User:Bruce|Bruce]] ([[User talk:Bruce|talk]]) 01:25, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

Yes Heb grammar. But it depends on the pronunciation, so without diacritics it was a bit ambiguous. The Christians fell for creatio ex nihilo so didn't follow the natural translation or the Massoretic diacritics when they became available.
