I'm unsure about what a "construct form" is? - Is this a Hebrew grammatical term? Or is it referring to the words used in this interpretation? Prue (talk) 11:26, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

Yes Heb grammar. But it depends on the pronunciation, so without diacritics it was a bit ambiguous. The Christians fell for creatio ex nihilo so didn't follow the natural translation or the Masoretic diacritics when they became available. Neither did Judaism for a millennium or so for the same reason, so the customary vocalisation & translation contradicted the Masoretic text. Bruce (talk) 01:25, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
