This verse is recorded in Luke 10 as quoted by a lawyer in discussion with Jesus, who took it at face value, and did not correct the cardiology! — see The Language of the Bible with Reference to Natural Things.

This is a New Testament Composite Reference. Composite references cannot be used to infer new "actual" meanings of the texts from which they are composed.
