A structure for defining general "problems" and "difficulties" — as opposed to simple questions[1] and well defined beliefs requiring reconciliation[2]

We acknowledge that problems undoubtedly exist within our community in reconciling our various understandings of Scripture with the discoveries of science, and we accept the responsibility to give attention to solving these difficulties ...
— from our "task".

For each problem “in reconciling our various understandings of Scripture with the discoveries of science”,

  1. a brief statement of the problem
    1. This statement must not beg the question. For example, Is Jesus' mention of the Sabbath relevant to how we read Genesis? rather than How does Jesus' endorsement of the Sabbath tell us how to read Genesis?
    2. Discussion may be required to formulate the problem/difficulty accurately. See also critical appraisal of problems Prue (talk) 10:05, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
  2. references and links to solutions proposed by Christadelphians who have already addressed the problems, with brief annotations expressing our view(s) about them.
  3. References and links to solutions proposed by others who have already addressed the problems, with brief annotations expressing our view(s) about them.
  4. Links to relevant Scripture
  5. Our judgement(s) with respect to solutions of it following the structure below. This may lead to Formal decision making.
  6. Links to useful deliverables as per the brief from the Business Meeting (text, graphics, Sunday School resources, Bible Class resources, multimedia resources, ...).
