3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Literal Reading
This passage is cited here as "accepting" events of early Genesis "as literally true". However, the fact is that people are not literally sheep and a literal reading of it is nonsense. It is a metaphor.
