KJV

The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

JPS Tanakh

The works of the LORD are great, [a]within reach of all who desire them.
His deeds are splendid and glorious; His benefice is everlasting;

[a] Meaning of Heb. uncertain.

NET Bible

The LORD’s deeds are great,
eagerly awaited by all who desire them.
His work is majestic and glorious,
and his faithfulness endures forever.

See Critical thinking and Isaiah 5:12 re respect for scientific discovery, searching out what "the hands of God" have done. Verse 3 appears to rule out deliberate deceit in creation, such as fossils created with "appearance of age": God's works are worthy of study.
