BibleOld TestamentPsalms

Say among the nations, “The LORD is king!

The world is firmly established; it shall never be moved.

He will judge the peoples with equity.” (NRSV)

The witness of the immoveable earth, seen here, illustrate the geocentric phenomenological language of the Bible, which assumes that the sun and moon move around the earth. This is contrary to the heliocentric model accepted by modern science. See Theistic Heliocentrism for the comparison between Heliocentrism and Evolution.
