 * See at Job 38:2 for two amusingly contrary appeals to this verse. Is the Bible's geocentrism really a problem?
 
 * Have you noticed that in Job's Creation Record (vv. 4-7) the stars are already in existence when the earth is created? This is contrary to a literal reading of Genesis ch 1. What does this teach us about reading literally?
 
 * Imagine that you were an ancient believer in the Sea God Yam. How would you feel about Job 38:8-11?

 * Does Revelation 16:18 refer to Adam and Eve or to humankind as a whole? See it in a large variety of English translations here. Does "since people were upon the earth" (NRSV) refer to Genesis 1:27?
