tremble before him, all the earth.
The world is firmly established; it shall never be moved. (NRSV)

The immobile Earth mentioned in this passage illustrates the geocentric language of the Bible, which assumes that the sun and moon move around the earth. This is contrary to the heliocentric model accepted by modern science: the Bible is using Phenomenological Language here.
