  • בָּרָא – baraˀ — "create"
  • יָצַר – yatsar — "fashion" as a craftsman, "form"
  • בָּנָה – banah' — "build"
  • עָשָׂה – asah — "make" or "do"

Isaiah 43:7 — Jacob, renamed Israel and owned by God, is created, formed, and made.
Genesis 1:1, 21 and 27 — Only three things are explicitly said to be created (baraˀ): the heavens and earth, the Tanninim and humankind.
Comment by Bruce (talk) 05:23, 28 February 2019 (UTC) — not true: the other sea and air creatures are included with the Tannim, no? See at Genesis 1:21. The heavens and earth, the Tannim, other sea creatures, air creatures and humankind were "created" (baraˀ) — everything else was made, sometimes "brought forth" by the elements. And after God said "let the waters bring forth..." (v.21) v.22 says he "created" (baraˀ) the Tannim etc.
make/made (asah) is used for the firmament, the fruit trees, the lights, the animals, humankind, and all God's works (Genesis 1:7, 11, 12, 16, 25, 26, 31, 2:2 (twice) and 2:3). The redundant final word of Genesis 2:3 is from asah.
Genesis 2:7 — God formed a man (Heb adam) of dust from the ground (Heb adamah)
Genesis 2:21-22 — God built a woman from his rib.
Psalm 33:13-15 — God as potter, forming the hearts of humankind
Psalm 102:18 — people "not yet created" (נִ֝בְרָ֗א from bara)
Psalm 103:13-14 — all of "adam" (humankind) is made from the dust using the image of a potter. He knows our frame (יֵצֶר, from yatsar).
Isaiah 45:12 — all of humankind created
