KJV

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Christadelphian writer Ron Kidd uses this verse to require clear evidence for "the evolutionary process" in the Bible "if Theistic Evolution is to have any credibility":

. . . The fact that there are a variety of views related to Theistic Evolution is in itself sufficient grounds for questioning the theory. Pure science does not operate upon multiple possibilities, neither can the word of God, which is concerned with truth, be called upon to support a variety of options.

There are a number of conclusions that can be drawn about those that adopt this theory. First, that evolution is viewed as a scientific fact and God must therefore fit into that process. Second, the authority of the Bible is seriously challenged, and third,

the evolutionist ignores and many times suppresses the real scientific evidence that shows the theory of evolution to be false. If Theistic Evolution is to have any credibility then it follows that the Bible would provide clear evidence for the evolutionary process, after all God has Himself declared,

“The Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).
