Lists of "scientists who reject evolution"
People who reject evolution often claim that the scientific evidence for it is inadequate, compiling lists of scientists, science teachers, etc who question evolution and quoting them as authorities. For example the Discovery Institute's A Scientific Dissent from Darwinism. See Darwinism for the differences between Evolution and Darwinism.

A detailed check of the Discovery Institute's list of names by the pseudonymous "Don Exodus" is reported on youtube. He writes:
We have all seen the Discovery Institute's list of scientists rejecting evolution. I analyzed the list, and emailed its signees. The truth of the matter is, DI lied repeatedly when constructing the list, and, by their own admission, even IF the numbers are skewed hugely in favor or the creationists, this still leaves .0027% of scientists in the US rejecting evolution.
Bro Ken Gilmore has posted to debunk the Discovery Institute's list on his blog.
No. 4 in the Scientific American "creationist nonsense" target list is "Increasingly, scientists doubt the truth of evolution."
The Clergy Letter Project
See https://www.theclergyletterproject.org. As of April 2021 "Clergy Project" letters promoting respect for both science and religion have been signed by more than 17,000 clergy representing Christian, Jewish, Buddhist and Humanist communities worldwide. The letters are similarly worded, with variations, and focus on controversies in the USA. As an example, this is the conclusion of the letter signed by Unitarian Universalist clergy:
We the undersigned, Unitarian Universalist clergy, believe that the timeless truths of the Bible and other scriptures may comfortably coexist with the discoveries of modern science. We believe that the theory of evolution is a foundational scientific truth, one that has stood up to rigorous scrutiny and upon which much of human knowledge and achievement rests. To reject this truth or to treat it as "one theory among others" is to deliberately embrace scientific ignorance and transmit such ignorance to our children. We urge school board members to preserve the integrity of the science curriculum by affirming the teaching of the theory of evolution as a core component of human knowledge. We ask that science remain science and that religion remain religion, two very different, but complementary, forms of truth.
