This passage illustrates the geocentric language of the Bible, assuming that the sun and moon move around the earth. This is contrary to the heliocentric model accepted by modern science: the Bible is using Phenomenological Language here. Tragically we now find that even amongst the ranks of supposedly Bible based communities, including Christadelphians, we have determined attempts being made to make science and the Bible harmonise. This inevitably means re-interpreting the Bible to accommodate scientific conclusions.
